How does the service work?

Within the system they will be able to send and receive messages as on a normal device, they will be able to consult their consumption by Gvet and tests if they need to confirm that the service is working correctly. These are the types of messages that can be sent:

What do I need to start setup?

We have carried out the integration directly with Facebook, so to carry out the integration you will need:
  1. A new phone number
  2. You do not need a cell phone dedicated to this number (although I recommend it)
  3. No balance needed
  4. They cannot install WhatsApp, it will only be used for the service
  5. You must activate that chip and make sure it receives messages and calls for the activation of WhatsApp Business that we will carry out
  6. That number will not be possible with WhatsApp on a cell phone, it is recommended to buy a new chip
  7. The veterinarian needs a Facebook account
  8. You need a Facebook business account
  9. They need to validate their business with Facebook, for this they must present legal information in the configuration of their business, here we cannot help much, they only need to present documents from their country that Facebook considers valid to verify their address and business phone number (not the that they are going to use in GVET)
  10. They need a website, their business must have a website, if they do not have one, they can use the link to the website generated by GVET that they can find within the GVET configuration
  11. In some cases Meta is asking for a company email address related to your website. In those cases, you must buy a domain and redirect it to the website that we created for you (or create your own) and register a business email. To register your email, we recommend Zoho Mail, which has a free basic plan. To obtain it, click here and in the menu of that website search for Products and then Mail . On the page, go to the prices section and look for the free account section. We do not provide support for external applications, they have their own support and in the case of Zoho it also has manuals to configure everything.

How much will I pay per month?

It depends on the use that each user gives to the service.
  1. On the one hand, Facebook/meta charges per conversation started and each country has different prices, you can see them here: https://developers.facebook.com/docs/whatsapp/pricing/
  2. On the other hand, Gvet charges $0.003 for messages within those conversations. You can see your consumption within WhatsApp settings > Balance. (At the moment since 2022 we are not charging anything)

Which has benefits?

Since this is the official version and each one will have its own number, we have the following new features:

  2. Birthday messages are re-enabled
  3. The option to send promotions to all customers will be integrated (it can be very expensive) (coming soon)
  4. The option to send clinic notifications to all clients will be integrated (can be very expensive) (coming soon)
  5. We will create a quick service bot to resolve your customers' queries without the need to attend to them (coming soon)
  6. At the time of initial configuration, you will be able to customize each of the messages that are sent
  7. Possibility of configuring buttons and calls to action in your templates

Terms and conditions of use

We recommend that you read the WhatsApp Business policy , if WhatsApp detects prohibited messages or that your clients report your messages because they do not want to receive notifications by WhatsApp, your number could be blocked. WhatsApp policies are as follows:

So we recommend that you ask your clients if they want to receive messages from you and if not, do not save your phone number with the valid WhatsApp format. We will also prepare tools to facilitate the approval of your clients, and reduce the reporting of unwanted messages.
